There are many ways to make donations to Rural Dog Rescue:

  • Saving a dog from a shelter is costly. Your contributions go directly to our dogs.

RDR accepts donations online or via mail at: PO Box 15719 Washington DC 20003. Checks can be made payable to Rural Dog Rescue

You can choose to enroll in monthly donations to help offset our costs.

    DONATE TODAY

  • You can be the face of change for underdogs by giving to Rural Dog Rescue through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). Our designation number is 89539.

  • You must contact our supply coordinator if you would like to make an in-kind donation and to pre-arrange a donation item drop-off.

    We CAN accept:

    • Six Foot Leashes

    • Monthly flea & tick preventatives

    • Medications that are not expired: amoxicillin, doxycycline and clavamox ONLY

    • ‘Adopt Me’ bandanas for medium and large dogs

    • Water and food bowls (clean and in good condition) for dogs 40lbs and +

    We can NOT Accept:

    • Food (Due to limited space, we are unable to accept this)

    • Bedding of any kind but not limited to towels, sheets, DOG BEDS, or bed linens

  • If you are not in a position to foster or adopt a dog, but would like to help in other ways. A great way to do this is to sponsor a Rural Dog Rescue dog!

There are many expenses involved in rescuing our dogs. Our costs for rescuing ONE dog from the shelter:

We remember these women, who we lost too early.
